As mothers, having a baby can be one of the most exciting events in
our lives. Even though we love seeing our little ones grow with each
ultrasound visit, we can easily become occupied with numerous
thoughts such as: your child’s health, a birth plan, preparing his
or her nursery, etc. Our continued focus on our children can lead to
a delayed focus on ourslves. This is turn can cause a lack or
self-care and unnecessary stress and pressure.
